This Privacy Policy explains how Vatsa Traders ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you use ProfitPulse GST Pro ("the Service") at app.profitpulseglobal.com. By using the Service you agree to this policy.

1. Data We Collect

• Account data: Email address and password (used for login)
• Business data: GSTIN, PAN, company name, address, financial year
• Uploaded files: Purchase Register (Excel/CSV/JSON), Sales Register, GSTR-2B JSON, e-invoice data
• Usage data: Pages visited, features used, session duration (anonymised)
• Payment data: Handled entirely by Razorpay — we do not store card numbers or UPI credentials

2. How We Use Your Data

• To provide GST reconciliation, ITC analysis, and compliance calendar services
• Email and password authentication
• To generate invoices under Vatsa Traders GSTIN (06BENPS9060N1ZM)
• To improve the Service and fix bugs
• To send service-related communications (not marketing without consent)

3. AI Processing

The AI assistant feature sends anonymised query text to Anthropic's Claude API via our server-side proxy. Your uploaded financial data (GSTIN, invoice numbers, amounts) is never sent to the AI — only text queries you type are forwarded. Anthropic does not store prompts sent via API. 4. Data Storage & Security

• Your data is stored on Hostinger servers located in India
• Uploaded files are stored temporarily in memory during reconciliation and are not permanently stored on disk
• OTP verification codes are stored for maximum 10 minutes and then deleted
• All connections are protected by SSL/TLS encryption
• We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties except as described in this policy

5. Your Rights (under DPDP Act 2023)

• Right to access your personal data
• Right to correct inaccurate data
• Right to erasure of your data
• Right to withdraw consent

6. Cookies

We use localStorage (browser storage) to maintain your login session. No third-party advertising cookies are used. Google Fonts is loaded for typography — Google may log the request per their privacy policy.

7. Changes to this Policy

We may update this policy. Material changes will be notified via email or a notice in the app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
